Abstract:
The TI-89 and Derive have many excellent features that allow you and your students to explore and investigate topics in Calculus. This session will include a handout with several examples of how the TI-89 can help students analyze and solve calculus problems. The workshop will also include examples illustrating how the TI-89 can be used as a teaching and exploration tool even if the students in your class do not havee the TI-89.
